Given that Quasar is a cosmic hero, there’s a decent chance he could be appearing at some point. James Gunn’s two Guardians movies have been hugely successful, with Ragnarok being the best Thor movie by far and also expanding into cosmic territory.

Quasar though is different from the other cosmic heroes who debuted around the same time. Adam Warlock, Captain Mar-Vell and Silver Surfer are all noble legends, alien beings imbued with a clear sense of right and wrong. Quasar is more of your everyman, and probably more relatable because of it.

It’s worth noting that this is the Wendall Vaughn version of the character being pitched, who began life as Marvel Boy. For the MCU though, fast tracking him to Quasar is definitely for the best. He’s more confident, better skilled and his wit is drier by then, so it’s the perfect time to introduce him.

There could definitely be a rivalry of sorts between Star-Lord and Quasar, especially seeing how he reacted to Thor. With that in mind, Krasinski is a match for Chris Pratt in both looks and humour, and could lead to an excellent dynamic between the pair.
