5. Sentry

Sentry's story is unique among Marvel heroes and would make for a great movie. Robert Reynolds is given a formula that imbues him with amazing powers...sounds familiar so far, but... Sentry becomes a role model to Spider-Man, an ally of the Fantastic Four, helps Hulk with his anger issues and marries the love of his life.

To Sentry's chagrin, his arch-nemesis, The Void, nearly kills Sentry's sidekick, sends the Hulk berserk, goes on a kill-crazy rampage in Manhattan and exploits Sentry's greatest fears. The plot twist? The Void is actually the dark side of Sentry.

Sentry works with Reed Richards (not a Marvel Studios property, sadly) and Dr. Strange (Who is!) to develop a way to make the earth (and Reynolds) forget the Sentry even exists.
