All 10 Live-Action Movie Batsuits - Ranked From Worst To Best

4. Panther Suit - Batman Forever (1995)

The Batsuit was re-designed for Joel Schumacher's first foray into the franchise, both practically and aesthetically. The costume was made from a lighter foam rubber, which allowed for more flexibility and durability during the action scenes while the suit was given a more anatomical design allegedly inspired by statues of Greek gods. Which as we all know means Bat-nipples. The first movie Batsuit to sport a black utility belt, the Panther suit sees the Caped Crusader wield a wide array of gadgets from classic Batarangs and Bat-cuffs to newer additions including a fireproof cape, Bat-bolas with a built-in electrical charge and the frankly alarmingly-named Bat Goo Gun. Val Kilmer had the honor (or ignominy) of sporting the first Batsuit to feature nipples, because somebody decided that's what Batman's costume has been missing. It's a shame that this design decision has been so vilified, because the rest of the suit isn't actually that bad. A clear evolution from the Batsuit of Tim Burton's movies, the Panther suit is a darker, sleeker, more streamlined version of the costume that ultimately suffers from being over-designed to within an inch of its life.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
