10 Longest Gaps Between Superhero Movie Appearances
9. Harley Keener/Ty Simpkins - Iron Man 3 To Avengers: Endgame (Six Years)
Alongside the aforementioned Jane Foster, and even Thor's fallen mother Frigga, another face that'd spent a whopping 6 years away from the ever-expanding MCU decided to arrive back on the scene in the Infinity Saga-concluding Endgame.
Instead of showing up in the past on Asgard, though, this returning character decided to rock up in the MCU-present during perhaps one of the most moving moments of the entire tear-jerking epic. As the camera pans back over the many friends and members of family gathered to pay their respects to a fallen Tony Stark, a rather familiar, but long-since forgotten, Iron Man ally soon comes into view.
None other than Harley Keener, played by the brilliant Ty Simpkins, is seen taking in the loss of his one-time bud, with the two last being seen on-screen together during Shane Black's third Iron Man entry.
The future still seems uncertain for a character who undoubtedly formed one half of one of the most underrated duos the MCU has committed to the big screen. But with Simpkins reportedly still having one film left on his three-feature Marvel contract, you wouldn't bet against another appearance further down the road.
