Look, in any other circumstance declaring that a character was 100% going to show up in a film they've not been officially announced to be a part of would be met with widespread eye rolls. But, at this point, it would likely be a bigger surprise and downright shocking to get through the upcoming third MCU Spidey flick without seeing everyone's favourite Sony live action Spider-Man.

So, with that being said, when Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker gets dragged into the multiversal chaos that is set to thoroughly change-up both Tom Holland's Spidey-world and the rest of the MCU in general, it will be the first time in a staggering 14 years that the noughties web-slinger will swing onto our screens in full spandex.
