10 Major Movie Spoilers Of 2015 We Already Know About

5. Scott Lang's Daughter Cassandra Will Appear - Ant-Man

The movie adaptation of Ant-Man has been floundering around in development hell since as far back as the early 1980s, when Stan Lee first pitched it to New World Entertainment. Director Edgar Wright came onto the project back in 2003, but since he recently dropped out Peyton Reed, best known for comedies, has taken over the helm. Recently, Reed spilled the beans on a new character revelation which could hint at a widening up of the Marvel Universe on the big screen. With the film set to emphasize Scott Lang's character (played by Paul Rudd) as he takes over the Ant-Man reigns from Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Reed has confirmed that Cassandra Reed - Scott's daughter - will be featured in the movie as well. As readers of the comic will know, Cassie goes on to become the Young Avenger Stature, hinting that perhaps Marvel will be taking their screen presence in even more directions in the future. After all, the studio recently announced a number of movies in the pipeline leading up to 2019, many of them as yet untitled, so who knows what the future will bring?
