1. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - The Green Goblin
That whole Death of Gwen Stacy storyline also of course teases the fact that Spider-Man will be forced to take on more than the previously announced villains of Electro (Jamie Foxx) and Rhino (Paul Giamatti) unless the script-writers are committed to trampling over a hugely important moment in Spidey-lore by changing it to incorporate one of them. As with the first Amazing Spider-Man, you have to suspect that the Green Goblin is behind the primary villainous plots, using both Electro and Rhino as his pawns to make a play from the shadows. But the question is who will be Green Goblin for this sequel? Chris Cooper, who will appear as Norman Osborne, would appear to be the smartest choice, as that would follow the usual trajectory of the character, but
MovieWeb have suggested from a source supposedly close to the production, that it will in fact be his son Harry (played by Dane Dehaan) who will pull on the Green armour.
That would certainly fit with the younger, hipper edge that this iteration of the character have been going for - especially as Chris Cooper is the grand old age of 65 now, and it seems the scripters are keen to throw a spanner in the works during a finale that takes place at an Oscorp power plant (the home of Electro.) So we're thinking Spidey tracks Electro back to the power plant, and discovers his master in the climax. It seems too much to suggest that Green Goblin will be in any more than that, since hopefully lessons will have been learned by the too-many-villains problem of Raimi's final Spiderman.
