6. Green Lantern Corps Is Still Happening
It was recently revealed that Warner Bros. is developing a Green Lantern TV series for the HBO Max streaming service Time Warner is hoping will serve as a rival to the likes of Netflix and Disney+. The show will reportedly boast a big budget and movie-worthy special effects, so it should be quite a bit better than the likes of Titans or The Flash. Where does that leave the long-rumoured Green Lantern Corps movie, though?
Well, Variety believes that it's still in the works and, last we heard, comic book writer Geoff Johns was supposed to have handed in a new draft of the screenplay by the end of last year.
There's been no update on that for a while now, but Hal Jordan and John Stewart remain the rumoured leads of the movie, so who knows where that leaves this TV series (there are other human Lanterns, but we don't even know for sure whether there are plans to tie the two projects together). However, it does seem like Green Lantern Corps still lives...
