4. Secret Invasion Could Be Coming To The MCU
During a recent investor's call, Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that there are more Marvel TV shows coming to Disney+ and his comments confirmed that there are at least two we don't know about. Well, looking back at a recent report from Bleeding Cool, filling in the gaps may not be all that difficult.
They promise that we're getting a Secret Invasion limited series based on the comic book event by Brian Michael Bendis and Leinil Francis Yu. In that story, the Marvel Universe was invaded by shape-shifting Skrulls posing as heroes like Hank Pym, Spider-Woman, and Elektra. That led to The Avengers being unable to trust each other, and we got a hint of this in Spider-Man: Fa From Home's post-credits scene when it was revealed that the heroic Talos and his wife had been masquerading as Nick Fury and Maria Hill.
As for the second series, we don't have any specifics but it reportedly revolves around an A-List character. This is all potentially very exciting and Secret Invasion, in particular, could set the stage for years of stories both in theaters and on television.
