Whilst not, unfortunately, ruining the movie to the point where they pulled the plug on the whole production, Smith’s widely-panned ‘buddy’ comedy starred his ‘hero’ Bruce Willis. Both men being New Jersey natives, Smith idolized Willis from the Die Hard franchise but found out that the vest-wearing Yippee-ki-yay-er was a pain in the ass to work with, an accusation other actors and directors have thrown at Willis over the years.

Smith stated, "It was difficult. I’ve never been involved in a situation like that where one component is not in the box at all." If that was the polite understatement, Smith later clarified his position. "It was f*****g soul crushing," and in case you really wanted to know what Smith thought of Willis his release party statement should help; "I want to thank everybody who worked on this film. Except Bruce Willis, who is a f*cking d*ck."

Beyond the filming Willis also refused to sit for promotional photos for the movie's poster and generally acted like he wanted nothing to do with the project. Willis’ inclusion here is hardly surprising as he’s been involved in a spate of feuds over the years. Willis fell out with Stallone during The Expendables movies and Cybill Shephard in Moonlighting as well as a host of awkward, mean-spirited media interviews in recent years.
