3. Anakin Skywalker Returns

If you€™re going to bring back Darth Vader€™s mask, you might as well bring back the man who used to own it. Having Anakin Skywalker return could be an interesting prospect. We see Anakin€™s Force spirit at the end of Return of the Jedi, so we know he€™s mastered that ability, just like Obi-Wan and Yoda. Since he is one with the Force he could return as a ghost or as a disembodied voice. If he were to return his ghost would most likely be to guide Rey, just as Obi-Wan did for Luke. It€™s hard to believe that Anakin would revert to his evil ways after all Luke had done to free him from the dark side. Acting as a benevolent spirit would help lend some insight into how to defeat Kylo Ren and Snoke. Perhaps he would even speak to Luke, his own son. Any sort of interaction with Kylo Ren would certainly be interesting. The mask is used as a focal point for Kylo Ren to turn to the dark side, but the mask€™s owner would show himself to be an agent of good. Now the mask that served as a dark side relic suddenly loses all value. However, if Anakin does become an agent of evil once again, then Kylo Ren would have a valuable ally. Having Anakin Skywalker or Darth Vader return is not so far-fetched, considering Hayden Christiansen is available to fill the role. His presence alone would be meaningful for whatever purpose he decides to reveal himself.
