10. Rocket Raccoon Threatens Thanos
This awesome moment occurred in the Thanos Imperative #1, when Thanos had been captured and was in a weakened state, but it was still absolutely epic on the part of Rocket. Thanos had Star-Lord in a death grip and was on the verge of killing him before the fearless raccoon showed up in a power suit and told him to let go of him. Rocket was aware of the fact that the suits weapons wouldnt kill Thanos and told him as much. However, he also made Thanos aware of the fact that the suit will disable him in his weakened state long enough for them to drop him off at in nearby black hole - awesome. Rocket was clever in doing this. He knows Thanos weakness he doesnt want to live, he craves death, and the event horizon that would occur if Thanos was dropped in to a black hole would ensure that the Mad Titan lived an endless life and be unable to die. And the best thing about this awesome feat of badassery? It worked. Thanos willingly gave Star-Lord up and let him go. We loved Rocket in Guardians of the Galaxy. We'll love him even more if he does this in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
