4. Dormammu Emerges

Although this would not be invoking a specific moment from the comic books, the imminent arrival of Doctor Strange in the Marvel Cinematic Universe almost guarantees that, at some point, the Dread Dormammu will be joining the Sorcerer Supreme on the big screen. Dormammu is truly monstrous. He is an immensely powerful evil wizard of the Faltine species whose magical prowess dwarfs that of Doctor Strange. He is huge in size and has a terrifying flaming head and he would represent a new type and a new level of threat in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His entrance or emergence will be spectacular. Accompanied by sinister music, his first appearance on screen will be like nothing seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far. Audiences will know something serious is about to go down - even if they're not familiar with the character from the comic books - simply going by his appearance. It will be amazing to see such a superb villain on our screens in live action - though we're not sure that seeing him indulging in a game of cosmic chess with Odin, as he has done in the comics, is something we're interested in witnessing in a movie.
