7. Jocasta Reference In Age Of Ultron

Avengers: Age of Ultron was something of a disappointment on the villain front, its robotic big bad taking pride of place on the list of MCU baddies who failed to live up to the lofty standards set by Loki during Phase One.

Eagle-eyed fans, however, may have spotted a reference to another villain of sorts in the movie. When Tony Stark is rifling through UI chips to find a replacement for Jarvis after he's been uploaded into Vision, he discards one labelled Jocasta, a name that will be familiar to the comic book enthusiasts.

In Marvel lore, Jocasta is the robotic bride of her creator Ultron. She's briefly loyal to the AI villain before betraying him and siding with the Avengers.

Age of Ultron already had plenty of characters to juggle, with Vision, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver making their full MCU debuts, but it doesn't seem like there were ever any plans to include Jocasta in the film as anything more than a fleeting reference.
