10 Marvel Cinematic Universe Villains Who Need To Make A Comeback

1. The Real Mandarin

Appeared In: Nothing yet. Love or hate the twist surrounding the character of Trevor Slattery and Aldrich Killian's claims that he was the Mandarin in Iron Man 3, the One-Shot "All Hail the King" clarified once and for all that the real Mandarin is out there somewhere, going so far as to spring Slattery from jail to make the actor pay for masquerading as him. The Ten Rings have been around since the inception of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the fact that a member of the organization was present during Darren Cross' selling of his tech in Ant-Man suggests that they're still very much in play, even if they've been incredibly low key. While it'd be great to see the organization rise up again in contrast to HYDRA and assert a much bigger presence in the MCU - even if it's just coming into conflict with the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in some way - seeing the real Mandarin in the flesh would be ideal. He could fit in anywhere, particularly as the villain in a Doctor Strange film, and all it would take would be a throwaway line or a scene with an imprisoned, forever-tortured Slattery to smooth over any confusion viewers who haven't seen the One-Shot would have over seeing a "new" Mandarin while finally giving fans the character they expected to see back in 2013.
