10 Marvel Comic Storylines That Need To Be Put On Film

5. The Kang Dynasty

The time traveling warlord called Kang the Conqueror has been one of the Avengers€™ oldest and most persistent foes. In The Kang Dynasty, he embarked on his most ambitious scheme yet. Showing the Avengers visions of various possible futures, the one they all have in common is their dystopian nature. To save the Earth, Kang must rule it and he announces that any who conquer lands in his name will have a place in his new world order, which brings many supervillains to his cause. The story is memorable in that Kang wins€”the Earth surrenders to him. It also features other great moments, like giant holographic projections of Cap and Kang battling in outer space, as well as a subplot involving Kang€™s son, Marcus, and Captain Marvel (who was then called Warbird). Combine that with set-pieces featuring widescale destruction and the potential to introduce other supervillains who may not be able to sustain a movie on their own, and there€™s the potential for an excellent blockbuster in here. Kang is one of the Avengers€™ most memorable enemies. We€™ve already seen Loki face off against Earth€™s Mightiest Heroes, and soon we€™ll get to see how they fare against Ultron and Thanos. So the next logical step would be to bring in The Conqueror.
