10 Marvel Villains For Phase 4 (And Who Should Play Them)

1. Carnage (Dan Stevens)

And finally, a villain Marvel fans have wanted to see on the big screen for years €“ Carnage, the combination of a homicidal maniac called Cletus Kasady and the spawn of the same alien symbiote that created Venom. He looks immensely cool, and constantly spews darkly comic comments. Put simply, Carnage is a fan favourite. Now that Spider-Man has joined the MCU, there€™s every chance that his utterly unhinged foe Carnage could finally get a movie deal. It would have to be a fairly dark movie, though, since Carnage usually leaves a trail of bodies in his wake. It's for this reason that Marvel Studios probably won't want to bring Carnage in for Phase 3. After they've tested the water a little, though, he could have a big presence in Phase 4. Carnage would certainly mark a change of pace for the MCU. He€™s not often seen attempting global domination, like most big screen villains. He€™s usually motivated by revenge or blood lust, in all honesty. A Spidey Vs. Carnage movie could make for a unique battle between a superhero and a serial killer, then. The Guest showed us that Dan Stevens is the perfect actor for the role. He can balance charisma and callousness like no other actor working today, making him an ideal match for the sneering symbiotic supervillain. Please Marvel, make it so.
