10 Marvel Villains For Phase 4 (And Who Should Play Them)

2. Sin (Emily Blunt)

Although we€™ve seen HYDRA rise, fall and rise again over the course of the MCU€™s first two phases, we haven't heard a whiff about the Red Skull€™s personal legacy since Hugo Weaving disappeared at the end of Captain America: The First Avenger. In the comics, he has a daughter who becomes a villainess in his stead. Sinthea Shmidt €“ better known as Sin - grew up in her father€™s shadow, but still showed impressive evildoing skills in her own right. She led the Sisters of Sin €“ a group of young women with superpowers €“ in battle against Captain America many times, in her youth. After her father€™s death, Sin sought revenge on Cap and The Winter Soldier. This backfired when a massive explosion left her severely scarred. Coincidentally enough, the blast gave her a red skull of her own, and she soon took up the mantle her father had left behind and embarked on her own evil schemes. Emily Blunt €“ if she doesn€™t end up playing Captain Marvel €“ would be a fine choice for the part. The trailers for The Huntsman show how sinister she can be, and we€™ve seen her in conflicted character roles on several occasions.
