3. Kraven The Hunter (Gerard Butler)
With Tom Hollands Spider-Man set to join the MCU during Phase 3, its certain that well get to see more webslinging antics in Phase 4. You cant imagine that Marvel Studios will want to repeat any villains that weve seen in cinemas before, though, so theyll have to settle for someone with a little less name recognition than the likes of Green Goblin and Doc Ock. Thankfully, there are still loads of unused villains left in Spideys rogues gallery. Kraven a Russian hunter/adventurer who becomes obsessed with catching and killing Spider-Man could be particularly interesting. Presumably, the world will know about Spider-Man after Phase 3, so that could inspire Kraven to travel to America and hunt him down. For a teenaged Spidey, a professional killer like Kraven could prove a difficult adversary. You can imagine some typical MCU banter between the pair, in amongst the fight scenes, as well. And who should play him? Youd need someone stern and strong who is willing to go a bit hammy when the occasion demands it. Gerard Butler whose CV blends the brilliance of 300 with the cheese of Tomb Raider 2 could pull it off. Hed probably be up for it, too.
