8. The Wrecking Crew
The Wrecker, Thunderball, Bulldozer, Piledriver — no, these aren't wrestling moves, they're the members of Marvel's Wrecking Crew. Their powers derived from a magical crowbar...not exactly a villainous squad that strikes fear into the hearts of superheroes.
This group of four super villains is essentially a squad of losers (not to be confused with the equally pathetic Legion of Losers) that are taken down by nearly every superhero in the Marvel universe. While they may not be gracing the MCU anytime soon, they do have the surprising potential for a stand-alone film.
Ditch the superpowers (not that they really helped them anyway) and instead give this ragtag group a film based on their origin – escapees from prison, they’re propositioned to steal a gamma bomb for a tempting payday. It could be written like The Town — with one man pulling off one last job — or it can be given a Reservoir Dogs twist with a mole hiding in their ranks.
