10 Massive X-Men Villains That Could Follow Apocalypse

7. Daken

With Hugh Jackman€™s pending retirement from the character, it€™s going to be hard to keep including Wolverine in the X-Men movies. One way they could make him a focus without actually including him would be to use his long-lost son Daken. Thanks to the new timeline, it€™s entirely possible that Wolverine now has an offspring, and one who€™s not too fond of him. With a similar healing ability and claws, Daken has that same rage his father has. What sets him apart from other villains is his very relatable goals. He€™s simply mad at his dad and wants justice and answers. That sort of human theme is exactly what the franchise has proven so adept at handling, so it'd be rather fitting. Expanding from there, Daken€™s inclusion could paint the next X-Men film as all about legacy. It could be the next generation fighting on without their mentors. It seems like an apt story to tell with many of the major players seemingly moving on after Apocalypse and Daken could be the best villain to tell it with.
