6. The Brood
In case you were ever wondering what would happen when you crossed Alien with X-Men, there's the Brood. This nasty alien race, which looks like suspiciously like xenomorphs, are alien insectoids armed with wings, fangs and some very nasty stinging tails. Like gigantic parasites trying to turn every human into one of them, the Brood is a wide-ranging problem. They would provide a formidable physical challenge and their Queen could act as the personification of their goals, making them moer than just a horde of mindless monsters. Theyre nothing like any previous X-Men villain, and seem to most closely resemble the Chitauri from The Avengers, but thats why they would work. Any superpowered mutant the next film uses will be compared to Apocalypse and its unlikely theyll match up. By going in a completely different direction, it creates a fresh threat and a decidedly different story as a result.
