10 Massively Underrated Horror Movies

7. Triangle

Halloween 3: Season of The Witch
Icon Entertainment

Fear comes in waves in this high seas horror movie. Triangle is a mind-bending experience that twists and turns in every direction throughout.

The setup sees a bunch of friends hit some bad weather during a yachting trip on North Atlantic Ocean, forcing them to take refuge on another boat. It's plain sailing until people start turning up dead, but that's only the beginning.

This swashbuckling fight fest is as weird as it is gripping when the party's doppelgangers start showing up, so much so that repeat viewings of Triangle are advised, purely so you can appreciate some of the film's deepest, darkest intricacies.

The only reason you might not have heard of this one is because it was barely advertised when it came out in 2009. Had it launched to more fanfare, it would probably have raked in enough dough to spawn several inferior sequels by now.
