10 MCU Characters Who Are Skipping Infinity War
1. Hank Pym
Hope Van Dyne won't be a part of Avengers: Infinity War, and nor will her father Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), from the look of things.
His intellect would be an asset in the fight against Thanos, and it would be interesting to see him collaborating with other great minds from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, like Bruce Banner and Erik Selvig, but that won't be happening yet.
Douglas is due to reprise his role in Ant-Man and the Wasp, but further MCU appearances beyond that are yet to be confirmed. An Avengers 4 cameo doesn't seem out of the question, though.
Leaked set photos from the fourth Avengers movie have shown the heroes sporting weird wearable devices on their wrists. Ant-Man has one too, except his is built directly into his suit, suggesting it's Pym tech.
Could Hank Pym be the one who invents the time travelling technology the Avengers are rumoured to use to undo Thanos' meddling from the previous movie?
