10 MCU Credits Scenes That Haven't Gone Anywhere (Yet)

5. The Escaped Frost Monster - Thor: The Dark World

Thor: The Dark World is one of the MCU's most forgettable movies to date, and so it's fitting that most fans have forgotten about a certain monster-sized plot thread its post-credits scene left hanging almost an entire decade ago.

The post-credits scene shows Thor reuniting with Jane Foster on Earth, before the scene shifts to reveal that the frost monster accidentally transported to London from Jotunheim during the movie's final battle is still running around the city.

Now to be completely fair, this is hardly a major plot point that needs tying up. We can all just freely assume that Thor or S.H.I.E.L.D. dealt with the beast at some point, but all the same, it's a little odd that neither of the Thor sequels addressed it at all.

It's even stranger when you consider that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. even devoted an episode to the fallout from The Dark World, and yet the creature's whereabouts didn't even get a passing mention.

Hopefully if Thor 5 ever does happen, Kevin Feige can put the three fans who truly care about the unaccounted-for frost monster out of their misery.
