8. All The Scott Lang Disrespect - Avengers: Endgame
How can you not love Scott Lang (Paul Rudd)? He's a kick-ass superhero and has a super-chill vibe, and yet by how he's treated throughout Avengers: Endgame, you'd assume he pissed in everybody's cereal.
As soon as the movie's honeymoon period lifted, audiences began to question why Scott was done so dirty during the film, being put down and mocked by a whole host of superheroes.
Some examples? Rocket (Bradley Cooper) condescendingly calls him "little puppy," The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) dismissively dubs him "tiny," Rhodey (Don Cheadle) refers to him as "Regular Size Man," Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) dubs him "Thumbelina," "Stuart Little," and "Piss-Ant," and Nebula straight-up calls him an "idiot."
Despite the fact that Scott facilitated the entire Time Heist, he's blatantly disrespected throughout the movie by his peers. You can call it newbie ribbing if you want, but aren't we past hazing in this day and age?
All in all Scott's abuse accounts for a mere fraction of Endgame's epic runtime, but an ant-sized quibble is still a quibble.
