3. Totally Wasting Scott Adkins - Doctor Strange
Martial arts fans were thrilled when the great Scott Adkins was announced to be playing a villainous role in Doctor Strange, because Adkins' incredible martial arts skills made him feel like a perfect fit for some high-wire sorcerer battles.
Though Adkins played Lucian, one of antagonist Kaecilius' (Mads Mikkelsen) most prominent followers, he's ultimately relegated to a small supporting role and gets only a few fleeting moments to showcase a fraction of his immense talents.
For anyone who's spent years watching Adkins tear it up on the VOD action circuit, it was supremely disappointing that he wasn't given more to do.
More recently, Adkins said that he regretted taking the part because it likely meant he wouldn't ever get another chance to appear in the MCU in a larger role.
At least with Adkins recently stealing the show in Netflix's vampire actioner Day Shift and next squaring off against Keanu Reeves in John Wick: Chapter 4, his career's still going strong.
