The movie: A group of four completely inept radicalized British Muslims attempt to plot the terror attack to end them all in the directorial debut of legendary satirist Chris Morris, Four Lions. After a visit to Pakistan terrorist training camp - in which they inadvertently blow up their fellow jihadists with a rocket launcher - the cell return to the UK and plan their explosive attack on the London marathon. What makes it a potential cult classic: Chris Morris is no stranger to scathing political satire and with Four Lions he successfully tackles a sensitive subject matter in which slapstick and gags merge with political commentary. What it lacks in bite in regards to the nature of Western "war on terror" propaganda it more than makes up for with its raucous comic timing and underlying humanity he brings to the characters. Sure to be a comedy cult classic.
