10 Moments When Marvel Movie Villains Proved They Weren't All Bad

10. The Winter Soldier Saves Captain America (Captain America: The Winter Soldier)

Captain America: The Winter Soldier sees Steve Rogers come face to face with his childhood pal Bucky Barnes, who had survived his fall in the previous movie, been taken in by HYDRA and fitted with a mechanical arm. He was brainwashed and kept on ice by the evil organisation, only being thawed out to carry out missions, which meant that his biological age had barely increased, despite the passing of time. In the epic final battle between the pair, Captain America ultimately comes out on top, but the pair fall in to the water below the S.H.I.E.L.D/HYDRA Helicarrier on which they were fighting. Cap ends up unconscious and would surely have drowned were it not for the intervention of Bucky, who dragged him to shore and swiftly departed to seek out the answers to the many questions he had about his past. Having tried to get through to Bucky during their fight, it seemed Cap was somewhat successful - at least enough for Bucky to drag him to safety, even if he didn't wait around for him to wake up. Essentially, there's still some of Bucky left in the apparently brainwashed assassin, and that bodes well for future movies.
