6. Tony Stark Escapes The Cave (Iron Man)
The events of the first Iron Man movie begin when Tony Stark is in Afghanistan giving a demonstration of his company's new 'Jericho Missile' to the American armed forces. Following a successful demonstration, Stark is being escorted away by a convoy when they are attacked by terrorists. His protectors are killed as Stark is captured, injured and unconscious but alive and requiring surgery. He awakens in a cave with an electromagnet installed (by fellow captive Yinsen) in his chest to keep him alive and is told to build a Jericho Missile for his captors. In secret (requiring balls of steel), he actually builds himself a suit of powered armour which he ultimately dons, like a boss, and fights his way out single-handedly.
