10 Moments When Comic Book Movie Villains Were Totally Humiliated

8. Stryker Tricked By A Dying Silverfox (X-Men Origins: Wolverine)

At the end of the worst X-Men installment, it seems that Colonel William Stryker has the upper hand - he shoots both Logan and Silverfox, mortally wounding the latter, and is ready to finish them off when he takes a step too close to the woman who can can control minds via touch. One grasp of the ankle, and she can persuade him however she wants. There are many reasons Stryker should be extremely embarrassed by this one - the woman was immobile and lying on the ground bleeding out, Stryker still had a few bullets left and wasn't paying attention - but none quite measure up to how Silverfox humiliates him even further. Instead of making him simply shoot himself, she tells him to discard the weapon, and walk away... and keep walking. To make things even more embarrassing, Stryker's long walk of shame doesn't end until he's picked up by an Army convoy that wants to bring him in for questioning during a mid-credits scene. Not only is this a humiliating turn of events, it is a frustratingly mundane one.
