2. Some Of The Kids - Dazed And Confused

Dazed And Confused is as much about drug culture as it is about coming-of-age and high school, and on reflection, it shouldn't have been at all surprising that some of the younger, more impressionable cast members might fall for the romance of drinking and smoking weed.

Richard Linklater revealed in an interview with Esquire that while the drugs shown in the film weren't actually real, there was definitely some on the set, when discussing how much of a part weed played in the seminal film:

"Well, it's in the first shot of the movie. So I think that says plenty, doesn't it? It wasn't real marijuana, although the cast does admit to being stoned in several scenes, particularly at the very end."
