10 More Actors Who Will No Longer Work Together

Lovers of the hit college-based sitcom were understandably a little excited at the long-awaited announcement of an official Community movie in 2022; one that had been teased and talked about for years.

And while just about every one of the show's many hilarious faces will seemingly be returning for this big-feature reunion, there is one actor who won't be receiving an invite.

As confirmed by Jeff Winger actor Joel McHale during an appearance on the Let's Talk Off Camera podcast (via EW), Chevy Chase unsurprisingly won't be showing up in the hotly-anticipated film, sarcastically telling host Kelly Ripa, "There wasn't any issues at all when we were making the show."

In case you didn't know, Chase, who played Pierce Hawthorne on the sitcom, was said to have been a bit of a jerk, often sending racial slurs Donald Glover's way and just generally disrupting scenes before he left the show in 2012 (via The New Yorker).

So, it doesn't come as that much of a surprise to hear that the Community gang aren't in a rush to reunite with a star who once claimed (via Huffington Post) that joining the show in the first place was a "big mistake".

That, and the fact his character is technically dead, all but guarantee this lot won't be working with Chevy ever again.
