While many fans have complained that the current MCU didn't end at Endgame, this is arguably what makes it its most potent. Seeing the efforts to repair - both on the part of superheroes, and the regular people displaced in a variety of ways, puts the universe at its most real. Huge world-changing events happen in comics all the time, but often the realities of how society would put itself back together afterwards is put to the wayside for the next big storyline.

Hearing the logistics of how people came back from the Snap, between becoming homeless, dealing with lost loved ones, and just coming to terms with the fact they'd been dead for five whole years really fleshes out the universe in entirely unexpected and entirely three-dimensional ways.

The entire world appears to have been permanently changed and shaped by the event, and this proves that the stakes in the MCU are often far higher, because events are likely to resonate throughout the next series of films.
