10 More Deleted Movie Scenes You Won't Believe Actually Happened
4. Lena Headey, Jeff Goldblum & Peter Dinklage's "Not Good Enough" Cameos - Thor: Love & Thunder
While hilarious screaming goats and the God of Thunder's ass-cheeks still managed to make Love and Thunder one of the most outlandish MCU outings to date, there was actually a ton of other moments left out of Taika Waititi's second Thor that would've likely made the project even more unforgettable.
Away from Christian Bale admitting that himself and Waititi took his Gorr the God Butcher into some pretty rated-R territory at certain points during the shoot in an attempt to push things as far as they could, another collection of intriguing super-scenes weren't deemed suitable for the finished godly sequel either.
Or as Taika himself phrased it, the sequences that would've involved the return of the glorious Grandmaster and Infinity War's mighty dwarf Eitri, played by Jeff Goldblum and Peter Dinklage, respectively, and MCU debut of Game of Thrones' Lena Headey just weren't "good enough" to feature.
And those praying to one day be the judge of whether these deleted star-studded scenes were up to scratch or not were ultimately dealt a rather painful blow by the Oscar-winning filmmaker, with Waititi clearly explaining, "I don’t want people to see the deleted scenes because they’re deleted for a reason."
Bale may have also noted how his erased moments with Dinklage and Goldblum contained "beautiful, brilliant stuff" in his opinion, but Taika clearly wasn't a fan of what he had in the can.
