From one high-speed chase to another, and to a Fast & Furious moment that was actually a whole lot realer than you likely first imagined.

During the sixth increasingly barmy entry in the franchise, Dom and his team find themselves up against a tank taken over by Luke Evans' Owen Shaw.

But instead of crafting a CGI monster vehicle and having it wipe out digital vehicles, the folks behind the picture decided to use the real deal and have it bulldoze some actual cars on some Canary Island roads.

This wasn't actually your average speeding doom machine, though.

The team redesigned a Chieftain WWII tank to take its top speed up from 30mph to over 60mph, and were given permission to completely wreck a brand new highway by the Tenerife and Gran Canaria government.

And that's exactly what they did.

Roads were pulverised, a ton of cars were completely flattened by the monstrous speeding vehicle, and the tank was even shot out of the back of a truck practically. And the destructive and entirely mesmerising end results more than justified the call to avoid going down the CGI route with this particular vehicular rampage.
