10 More Horror Movie Characters You Couldn't Wait To See Die

4. Trent Sutton - Friday The 13th (2009)

The word "slimeball" comes up a few times across this list, and never is that term more fitting than when it's being used to describe Trent Sutton of Marcus Nispel's Friday the 13th reboot.

Trent is a character overloaded with so many detestable traits of the slasher genre, and his role in this feature is one of almost parody. To run though some of the traits of Travis Van Winkle's character, he's a cocksure, selfish, chiselled, handsome, rich jock who flaunts his wealth, mocks those poorer than him, and is more than happy to cheat on his girlfriend while he quips about his fling's "stupendous t*ts".

That line of dialogue in particular should be enough to have you hoping to see something horrifying happen to Trent, and thankfully he does indeed have his life eventually brought to an end courtesy of one Jason Voorhees.

After the core cast of this redo head out to Trent's family's summer home at Camp Crystal Lake, Sutton's inevitable confrontation with Jason sees the A-hole fatally impaled on the back of a truck. With that, one of the Friday the 13th franchise's most skin-crawling characters is gleefully done away with.
