5. Melanie - The Babysitter: Killer Queen
Melanie was the final girl of 2017's The Babysitter. Having a crush on the protagonist, Cole Johnson, she becomes entangled with an evil cult's sinister scheme to kill the young boy. Yet the two would manage to survive the experience and live to see another day.
The sequel, The Babysitter: Killer Queen, then sees the return of Melanie who remains her kindhearted self and is the only one who believes Cole regarding the events of the previous film.
When the threat emerges again, it's easy to assume that the pair will work together to overcome the odds again but unfortunately, Melanie is revealed to be the new villain of the sequel.
She is now a member of the same cult from the original film and is trying to finish what they started by trying to get to Cole. And unlike Bee, the original antagonist, Melanie has no qualms about hurting our protagonist to get to her goals. In the end, the new character Phoebe steps up as the sequel's final girl while Melanie is defeated and her head explodes in a bloody fashion.
