10 More Horror Movies You Constantly Have To Defend Loving
6. The ABCs Of Death (2012)
A good anthology movie is like a birthday cake for horror fans, except that every slice is a different flavour. It sounds delightful, right? Well, yes and no, as sometimes those flavours don't get enough time to hit your tastebuds right.
Sadly, that's something that a lot of the shorts in The ABCs of Death suffer from, as the movie is just over two hours long yet contains a film for every letter in the alphabet. Not only is that already a lot to take in, but some of these shorts are very, very weird.
The picture ambitiously gathers filmmakers from across the globe and lets them make a short in their style based on a letter of the alphabet. You'll see some outlandish things, such as a duck-based snuff film, farting Japanese schoolgirls, a lady battling to flush a turd, a samurai execution, and much more.
While many of these shorts are perfectly reasonable horror affairs, there are plenty that you do not want your parents walking in on. It's a wildly uneven ride, yet fans of bizarre horror experiences will not want to miss it.
