10 More Huge Movies That Were Instantly Forgotten

2. Men In Black: International

It's not hyperbolic to say that many folk genuinely forget that Hollywood made a fourth Men in Black movie, albeit one without either of the franchise's original leads, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.

Demonstrating its patent lack of imagination from the jump, MiB: International took Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson and dropkicked them into a thin sketch of a sci-fi comedy that's neither funny nor basically thrilling enough to satisfy.

Given Hemsworth and Thompson's clear screen chemistry, it's shocking just how un-fun they are to watch together here, admittedly trapped inside a lame-brained tentpole vehicle that feels like off-brand MiB in its very bones - because that's exactly what it is.

Amid utter indifference from critics and audiences alike, it flopped at the box office, and even just five years later, you'll struggle to find anyone who remembers much about it at all.

The previous MiB movies, even the disappointing second one, were at least plenty memorable, but International is such a blandly desperate attempt to revive the dormant franchise that even the most easily entertained of casual moviegoers forgot about it within days.
