2. Why Did Miles Invite Andi? - Glass Onion
The Plot Hole:
Why on Earth would Miles Bron (Edward Norton) invite Andi (Janelle Monáe) to his mansion in Greece if he'd had her killed a week earlier? As Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) himself would say, it don't make no damn sense.
The Solution:
Fans have raised a solid answer here. Firstly, Miles may have invited Andi to cover his own hide and throw off any suspicion that he was involved in her death.
After all, it's specifically mentioned that the puzzle box invites were only completed at the last minute, and this might've been because Bron hastily had an extra one made for Andi in an attempt to build an alibi of sorts.
It also tracks because, of course, this isn't an even remotely water-tight alibi, and given that Miles is shown to be an absolute idiot throughout the film, it makes total sense that he'd settle on a scheme so boneheaded.
Basically, the most satisfying and hilarious answer is that Miles is just that dumb, and in trying to throw suspicion off himself, he inadvertantly brought Andi's twin sister Helen to the island, who ended up ruining him.
