Solo: A Star Wars Story contains a moment that's at once a fan-serving Easter egg and a crushing revelation in of itself.

You might not know the name Aurra Sing (Michonne Bourriague), but you'll certainly recognise the distinctively attired bounty hunter with deathly pallid skin and striking red hair briefly glimpsed during The Phantom Menace's Tatooine podracing sequence.

Despite her brief appearance, her unique design struck a chord with fans, who desperately wanted to know more about her.

Many years later, Sing was featured in a handful of episodes of animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, as voiced by Jaime King, but that was the last we saw of her.

However, Sing's speculated-about fate was finally sewn up in Solo, where Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) mentioned that Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson) killed her, to which Beckett replied, "Pushed her. Pretty sure the fall killed her."

While on one hand it was neat to hear Sing's name mentioned in a major Star Wars movie, that it was only to announce her death was a crying shame.
