10 More Movie Mistakes You Can’t Believe You Didn’t Spot

8. A Disappearing Vehicle - Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning

You are definitely forgiven for not catching this blink-and-you'll-miss-it continuity mistake in the middle of the latest Mission: Impossible movie's thrilling Fiat 500 chase in Rome.

As Ethan Hunt and Grace fly through the Italian streets in the rapid little vehicle, the sheer speed and amount of chaos going down around them makes it tough to focus on anything outside of the yellow car and the stars skidding it around town.

But if you do pull your eyes away from Tom Cruise and Hayley Atwell trying to get away from an incoming Pom Klementieff's Paris, you'll just about be able to spot another rather impossible occurrence.

As Grace makes a sharp left, a black car can be seen parked on the corner and narrowly being missed by the pair.  But two seconds later, as a Paris in hot pursuit takes that same corner, the aforementioned parked vehicle has somehow disappeared.

Maybe Christopher McQuarrie and co. just felt that keeping the car on that corner would've been a little too risky/difficult, with it likely being a lot harder to send a four-wheeled monster around it safely without accidentally pulverising the parked automobile.

Whatever the reason, the finished film just made it seem like this car decided to suddenly flee the action and bizarrely vanish into thin air.
