9. The Marvels

"Marvel love a crossover" is a statement so redundant it should be a crime to type it out. Seriously.

Kevin Feige's grand vision has seen dozens of iconic superheroes turn up on each other's patches, working together and against one another in equal measure.

This noble tradition is set to continue with The Marvels, which will see Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel team up with... Monica Rambeau. Clearly someone didn't get the memo about naming conventions.

Monica and the Captain first appeared in the 2019 movie Captain Marvel, played by Teyonah Parris and Brie Larson respectively. As for Ms. Marvel, she's played by Iman Vellani in the Disney+ series. If you haven't seen it yet, that's probably because you're catching up on the 6,000 other shows Marvel put out on that platform.

The Marvels is set to release in the Summer of 2023. It will be about what happens when the three heroes begin to swap places whenever they use their powers. Think Freaky Friday but with more lasers.

With the calibre of actors involved in the project and an intruiging story, The Marvels should be a lot of fun. Plus, a Marvel movie led by three women? Yes please.
