5. Millennium
Chris Carter's sci-fi thriller series Millennium may not have become a pop-culture mainstay in its own right like Carter's The X-Files, but the Lance Henriksen-starring show certainly won itself a loyal legion of fans who would absolutely love an easy way to watch it in 2023.
Millennium was cancelled back in 1999 at the end of its third season, and though a collection of the entire series was soon enough released on DVD, it's been out-of-print for a long time, enough that copies now sell for hundreds of pounds on Amazon.
Though The X-Files is a streaming mainstay, Millennium sadly hasn't been afforded the same treatment, leaving fans with few options for watching the show without breaking the bank.
With Fox now being owned by Disney, it's frustrating that the series hasn't yet wound up on Disney+ or Hulu. Instead, it's being left to languish in the content ether even as its passionate fans continue to demand a new release.
