10 More Movies & TV Shows You Can No Longer Watch

3. The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers is a rarest of things - an acclaimed TV follow-up to a trilogy of critically panned sports movies.

All the same, 1992's original Mighty Ducks remains nostalgic comfort food for many - hence why this show was produced in the first place.

The first season performed well enough for Disney to greenlight a second, though following contractual agreements with original star Emilio Estevez, he opted not to return for season two.

This resulted in the second season receiving considerably more mixed reviews from critics and fans alike when it finished releasing last November, and then a few months later in May, it was removed from Disney+ entirely as part of the streamer's aforementioned content purge.

Much like Willow, Game Changers remains without a new home almost six months after its removal, and given the wildly divisive response to season two, they might struggle to license it out elsewhere.

All the same, for the many who found the first season to be a feel-good delight, and everyone who worked hard on season two regardless, this is a terrible fate.
