10 More Scrapped Movie Scenes Better Than What We Got
5. The Moonage Daydream Moment - Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
Rian Johnson's Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery contains more flashbacks than you can shake a Mona Lisa at, and it turns out that one of the jumps back in time could have boasted a hell of a musical number.
That's according to two of the flick's stars, Edward Norton and Janelle Monáe.
Back when the team was shooting the moments when the likes of Norton's Miles, Monáe's Andi, and the rest of the gang were all on better terms in their younger years, the actors bonded over their shared love of David Bowie.
With that in mind, the two felt it'd be interesting to see their two characters share the open mic night stage and perform their own version of "Moonage Daydream" as pals for all of the Glass Onion regulars.

And the director was well into giving the idea a go, too, with Johnson actually shooting a sequence involving Norton, Monáe, Kathryn Hayn, and Kate Hudson blasting out the Bowie hit together.
Said incredible musical number - one that saw Monáe belting out the tune and Norton playing it - never made the final cut, though, and viewers instead just had to settle for "Starman" playing in the background during those Glass Onion bar flashbacks.
