10 More Star Wars Mistakes You Can't Unsee
9. Harrison Ford Mouths Carrie Fisher's Line - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
The filming process can be a rather tedious one. And after spending hours going over the same scene time after time, it's only natural for a thespian to end up knowing their co-star's lines as well as their own.
In an easily missed moment between Rebel love birds Princess Leia and Han Solo on the Millennium Falcon during Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, though, it appears that Harrison Ford ended up knowing Carrie Fisher's lines so well, he couldn't resist mouthing along with her.
After Leia ends up accidentally tumbling into the smuggler's arms in the wake of a sudden tremor, the revolutionary fires the line "Captain, being held by you isn't quite enough to get me excited" at the cocky Solo.
Really focus on Ford's mouth during that retort and you'll never be able to unsee his lips subtly mimicking what Fisher is saying.
Whether it was his way of secretly helping his scene partner through the scene or the moment had been performed so many times he'd begun unintentionally mumbling his co-star's lines too, either way, Irvin Kershner was probably just hoping your eyes wouldn't be drawn to Ford's trap whilst he was being verbally blasted by the princess in this particularly wonderful take.
