10 More Star Wars Mistakes You Can't Unsee

8. Kenobi Says Hello To Grievous, But Goodbye To The Massive Vent - Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith

Make no mistake, Obi-Wan Kenobi was one of the most powerful Force-users found swinging a lightsaber during the Clone Wars. But even he would have found it difficult to make a gigantic vent completely disappear in the blink of an eye.

That's exactly what goes down during the moments right before he collides with the cyborg Jedi killer known as General Grievous during Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, however.

Not long after dropping down and greeting the Separatist Droid Army leader with a rather iconic "hello there", Kenobi decides to quickly take out some incoming droid guards with a huge vent from above via the Force.

So far, so civilised.

Only, just a few seconds on from Ewan McGregor's Jedi Master plonking a massive chunk metal in the middle of the room on Utapau, the item goes from being visible in the background to completely disappearing (at 1:04 in the clip above) when Grievous pulls out his many laser swords.

With so many CGI elements being seen during this gripping fight between Jedi warrior and relentless Kaleesh warlord, it's likely the masterful VFX artists were too busy making sure the hundreds of droids in the background and the rest of the alien location looked the part and just didn't realise that they'd awkwardly forgot to leave behind the damage that pesky Kenobi had already caused.
