2. Lizzy Caplan - True Blood

After spending the last four years starring in Masters of Sex, the lovely Lizzy Caplan may now be a pro at stripping off for the camera, but back in 2008 when she de-robed for a number of sexy scenes opposite Ryan Kwanten in HBO's hit vampire drama True Blood, she wasn't quite so confident.

Caplan explained many years later that she had to get "hammered" to perform the scenes, saying, "It was like 7am in the morning and I was chugging vodka completely naked while a make-up artist I had just met was on her knees in front of me sponging my a**."

To make matters even more awkward, her post-shoot behaviour was also influenced by all the vodka indulgence: "I was so nervous and then I was so drunk, that after I shot the scene I was going up to the crew members...I had just met all these people the day before and I was going up to them like, ''You got a boner! You do! You've got one!'". Amazing.
